How tuition works

The figures are at the front desk. Here is how each part works.

  • What sets tuition

Tuition depends on the class group and on how often a student attends. Children's, teen, adult and family classes are priced separately, and the front desk goes over the figures with you when you visit.

    • The class group

    • Classes a week

  • Holding a place

The Thursday junior class keeps a waitlist. When a place opens, the front desk calls families in the order they joined.

  • Billing

Tuition is billed once a month, and the front desk sends a receipt each time.

  • Siblings

Brothers and sisters, and parents who train as well, share one family account, and the front desk goes over how a second student is handled when you visit.

  • Withdrawing

Billing is month to month. To stop, tell the front desk before your next billing date, in person or by email. Billing ends after that month and there is nothing else to sign.

  • Missed classes and make-ups

A missed class can be made up in another class at the same level that week or the next. Tell the front desk, and sit in on whichever class fits.

  • Uniforms and belt tests

A uniform is the one thing to buy, and the front desk fits it at the end of your first class. Belt test costs are listed at the desk before a student tests, so nothing comes as a surprise.
